Query Settings (Category Source)

This section controls which product categories are pulled for display.

Source	Defines the type of taxonomy to query.	Product Categories (Standard), or other custom taxonomies if applicable.
Select Categories	Manually select which categories to include or exclude.	Include / Exclude (Manual Selection, By Parent, Current Subcategories, etc.)
Order By	Determines the sorting method for the categories.	Name, Slug, ID, Count (number of products), Menu Order, None.
Order	Sets the direction of the sorting.	ASC (Ascending) or DESC (Descending).
Max Number of Terms	Limits the total number of categories to display.	Enter a numeric value (e.g., 12).
Hide Empty	Hides categories that currently do not have any products assigned to them.	Yes / No (Toggle).
